Nicola Jarvis is an artist who uses embroidery in art, design and textile applications. She trained at the world class Royal School of Needlework and has been teaching hand embroidery for over 30 years. Nicola teaches all over the world and produces a successful and popular range of kits that are available to buy.
Nicola came to us with an existing eCommerce website based on the Magento platform, which was becoming increasingly difficult to manage, and did not have the flexibility she required.
We designed and built a WordPress website with eCommerce functionality. The website has a more contemporary look and feel, navigation is simpler and the website is more user-friendly. The focus is on the online shop selling beautiful embroidery kits, with large images showing them to their best advantage. Nicola's team manage all kit orders via the website.
The new website saw a marked increase in traffic and sales of the kits.
On an ongoing basis, we design and build Nicola's quarterly email campaigns, each of which generates numerous additional workshop bookings and kit sales.
